The fibre optic sensory lamp is primarily used in sensory or treatment rooms in homes, schools, and hospitals. Because of the fiber optic sensory lamp have a positive impact on anyone with cognitive impairments, from infants to the elderly. The visual variation in colors and the soft touch of the fiber optic harness will stimulate the user’s mind.
The fiber optic sensory lamp is composed by a low voltage LED fiber optic illuminator and a harness of twinkle fiber tails in clear PVC sleeves. The outer fiber sheath is made of food-grade PVC. The fiber optic harnesses are completely safe to touch as there is no electricity or heat running through the strands. But, the LED light source needs to be installed out of the reach of children.
1. Fibre Optic Sensory Lamp 1st Element – Low Voltage LED Illuminator
For safety reasons, low-voltage LED fiber optic illuminators are recommended only for fibre optic sensory lamp.
Please always bear in mind that the LED light box should be kept out of reach of non-professionals.
2. Sensory Fiber Optic Cables
Vivid Color and Soft Touch
The LED fiber optic illuminators we recommend are equipped with RGBW LED modules to display vivid and bright colors.
The PMMA fiber core of 3 fiber strands is protected by a clear food-grade PVC sheath for safe touch and play.
Heat-sealed Ends
The twinkle fiber optic ends are heat-sealed to prevent people get hurt by the PMMA fiber light strands inside the PVC sheath.
Each heat-sealed fiber optic end has been specially treated by removing the sharp corners to ensure safety when in touch.
