The Sauna Star is a kind of LED fiber optic lighting kit that make the star ceiling decoration for sauna rooms. And it is composed by the LED light source, fiber optic harness and the end fittings.

1. Sauna Star 1st Element – LED Light Engine

Normally, the low voltage LED light sources are the best choice for the sauna star. Especially, the 5W LED fiber optic light source will fit well in a home sauna room.
Make sure that the LED light engine should be waterproof (IP65) if it is installed in the sauna rooms. An optional waterproof enclosure is preferred for indoor version light engines. Of course, it could also be placed outside the room.
Make sure that the light engine should be kept out of reach of unskilled electricians.

2. Sauna Lighting 2nd Element – Fiber Optic Cables

The fiber optic light cable with a large active diameter is preferred so that the end fittings can serve as a small spot light to light up the sauna room as well as the floor.
We provide the sauna star kits of 15 tails, 20 tails, and 50 tails with end glow fiber cables of 2.0mm and/or 3.0mm. The optical fiber length could be 2 meters to 5 meters according to the location of the LED light box and room size.
Fiber optic cables with PVC sheaths are always preferred for protection.

3. Best Star Ceiling Fittings

End fittings are a must for a sauna kit with plastic fiber cables. Three categories of end fittings could be applied to a sauna star kit: plastic end fittings, buried end fittings, and our ceiling end fittings.
Plastic end fittings: PC, used for general stars,
Buried end fittings: Stainless steel SS-316, used for illumination,
Ceiling end fittings: Copper + glass, used for stars with rays.
Waterproof (IP65) needs to be ensured for the end fittings in humid environments.
Customized designs are welcome! OEM & ODM services of end fittings are available at request.

4. Installation Accessories

Some accessories might be needed in the installation of the kit, such as drills, glue, a hot knife, cutters, etc.
Please note that the glue is not allowed to ship either by air or sea. It needs to order locally. Others could be ordered along with the sauna star kit.
